When I created my “How to Paint Your Rims/Wheels” video for YouTube, I never would have guessed it would surpass the 300K views mark. Well it did. And it did so in 3 years. Why did I create that video anyway? First, I had a full-size spare I needed to paint. Second, because I saw How To videos as the next big thing. And it’s such a great way to get people fired up about changing the look of their ride for just few bucks. My intention was never to sell wheel painting kits when I created the video.
I decided to sell wheel painting kits when I noticed that people were having a hard time getting all the right materials together to do the job correctly. I got emails through YouTube all the time. So I thought to myself, how can I help these people? 2.5 years after the video was uploaded, rimpainter.com was born.
The materials and instructions in each of my kits may appear to conflict with what you’ll see in the video. Let me just say that they do not conflict at all. I have simply refined the process; made it better.
