Lexus IS gets “flat-blacked”

by Christian on November 27, 2009

It makes my day when I see one of our kits successfully applied on the wheels of a “higher end” vehicle, such as a Lexus. It’s not necessarily because the product we carry is now literally rolling around the streets on a nice vehicle; rather, it’s that the owner of the expensive vehicle was willing and able to do such a great job and that they were clearly up for the challenge!

When I tell the average Joe (or Jane for that matter) about our business I often get a look of bewilderment in return. Most people don’t understand it. But after I explain it to them, a light turns on and they see why people would want to paint their wheels: To avoid spending thousands on new wheels (and sometimes tires) while still getting that custom look – for under $100.

So, as they say, a picture speaks a thousand words. Check out the fantastic job this customer did on his Lexus IS wheel(s). And the cool part is that he used some high-powered lighting for this photo because he finished at night (which makes blemishes really show). I don’t see any blemishes. I don’t know about you, but this looks like a factory painted wheel to me. Wow!
